Sandbanks Polo Shirts

Sandbanks currently offers three polo constructions: the full-button knitted polo in a premium textured knit, the silicone zip polo with a streamlined zip placket, and the logo badge half-zip knitted polo. Within these, options extend to a three-button placket style and a long-sleeve silicone zip version, giving a range of formality levels from smart-casual to relaxed weekend wear.

The knitted polo is constructed from a textured premium knit fabric, giving it a slightly heavier hand-feel and a more traditional, dressed-up profile — closer to a fine-knit jumper-polo hybrid. The silicone zip polo uses a smoother interlock fabric with a minimal zip collar detail, producing a cleaner, more contemporary silhouette that sits well under a jacket or windbreaker.

The current polo collection spans grey marl, sage, oat stone, navy, stone, black and white — all chosen to complement the wider Sandbanks palette. The restrained colourway selection means every polo pairs naturally with the brand's outerwear, sweatshirts and T-shirts without any coordination required.

Knitted polos benefit from a cool machine wash on a gentle or wool cycle, ideally inside-out to protect the surface texture. Tumble drying should be avoided — lay the garment flat to dry naturally to preserve the knit structure and prevent any stretching at the collar or hem. The silicone zip polos can generally handle a standard 30°C cycle.

The silicone zip polos follow a contemporary slim-to-regular fit designed to sit cleanly without pulling across the chest or shoulders. The knitted styles have a slightly more relaxed structure given the nature of the knit construction. Sandbanks recommends sizing up one size if you prefer a looser, layered look — particularly for the knitted range.
